Studio Values

  • Community

At Ascension Aerials we are all about an environment of inclusivity. Classes are designed to foster an atmosphere of support and encouragement between students. We value diversity - our classes are for everybody and every body is welcome.

  • Connection

Group classes are a place to connect and share a collective experience with other students. Classes provide an opportunity to form meaningful relationships and friendships. The mind - body connection is integral to learning new skills and all classes are designed to help students nurture this connection.

  • Confidence

Students experience a growing confidence in their bodies abilities. Be amazed at what your body can do when you prioritize health and fitness. Students report growing confidence with self image, skill and ability, and strength. This pours into all areas of their lives and positively impacts professional, personal and social relationships.

            Equity and Dignity

At Ascension Aerials we strongly believe in the inherent value of all individuals, being equal in dignity and rights.
We recognize pole dancing as a form of fitness, sport, or hobby wouldn’t exist without historical and present-day associations with sex work. We firmly believe that all individuals are equally deserving of respect and ensure that our studio is a welcoming, safe space. We support students of all backgrounds. There is no tolerance for language or attitudes of disrespect or stigma.
We also recognize that not all individuals who are involved in sex work are there by choice, and that sex trafficking exploits vulnerable individuals for their bodies. We believe it is our responsibility as a business to support organizations that are working to breaking the cycle of human trafficking. We are committed to support organizations by giving a percentage of our income on a consistent, monthly basis.
